The Salon de Mai
celebrates 40 years
of creativity
A prominent artistic event, the 40th edition of the Salon de Mai took place from 5th to 27th of May 2023 at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute, with more than 110 Mauritian artists! A creative printmaking workshop was also held prior to the event, bringing together artists from Europe, Africa and Asia alongside local artists. From the classical to the contemporary, this intergenerational event supported by Moka Smart
City showcased a variety of art forms – painting, sculpture, photography, etc. - pushing the boundaries of creativity. A celebration of art in all its forms. See you at the 41st edition!
