The Moka Street Food
Festival, a delightful success!
The first edition of the Moka Street Food Festival drew nearly 10,000 people to the Telfair Amphitheatre on Saturday 6th May 2023. The event was held in partnership with Food Frenzy and offered a culinary journey for foodies and cooking enthusiasts. There were 22 vendors with a wide variety of local and international dishes to suit all tastes.
This family event bursting with colour and flavour was fuelled by the hard work and enthusiasm of 381 contributors, who put in a remarkable effort to make this first edition a success!

Open-Air Cinema:
magical evenings under the stars
The free sessions of Open-Air Cinema in Moka have gradually become a favourite for a night out under the stars with the family. The event is hosted at the Telfair Amphitheatre, with the Moka mountain range as a backdrop. Viewers gather in front of the giant screen, feasting on treats from local vendors, such as popcorn, burgers, sweets and more. The movies on show are full of laughter, wonder and thrills for all tastes. With an average attendance of over 1,500, we advise you to arrive 30 minutes before the screening starts. This season, five screenings are scheduled from September 2023 to March 2024.
