Neighbourly spirit in Moka!
The people of Moka are the main reason why the city is filled with life, sharing and joy! Here is a portrait of seven people involved in the Moka’mwad citizen collective who are helping to get the region moving!

X For as long as Karen, Patricia and Bernadette can remember, there has always been good neighbourly relations in Gentilly. The first Neighbours’ Day has really strengthened the ties between them. “About a dozen of us volunteered to prepare this evening,” says Karen. “I have very fond memories and it was a great opportunity to get to know each other,” adds Bernadette. Since then, true bonds of friendship have naturally formed between these neighbours. They can keep in touch on a regular basis through a WhatsApp group where they share everything from good deals to happy events and the latest news as well as support each other! “It is a chance for residents of all ages to live in a neighbourhood that has a good quality of life,” says Karen. Patricia concludes that, “We know that we can count on each other. Even our children are making friends with each other: it couldn’t have been better!” P
