Commute makes carpooling easy
X The Danish start-up, Commute App has launched in August 2021 an interface of its carpooling application covering the whole island with the support of Moka Smart City! The project is motivated by the desire to improve citizens’ mobility, lessen road congestion and reduce our carbon footprint, among others. This commitment reflects the smart city’s genuine resolve to contribute to implementing smart solutions in the Moka region and across Mauritius.
The app is free of charge and user-friendly. Users can also collect and redeem CO2 credits for discounts at partner shops via the interface.
