Moka Rangers Fencing Open,
a great first!
Over 50 fencers have been practising their skills at the Ecole du Centre gymnasium since September 2018. The first edition of the Moka Rangers Fencing Open on 7 December 2019 allowed them to get together with other enthusiasts to share their passion. A total of 37 fencers competed in their respective categories under the supervision of the coach, Kevin Museliah and Caroline Mamet, who is in charge of the discipline at the club as well as a facilitator and fencer. The event was an opportunity to measure the young fencers’ progress and their ability to cope with stress in competition. Owing to its success, the Moka Rangers Fencing Open will return soon.
Moka Rangers
Football Cup holds its annual tournament!
The Moka Rangers Sports Club’s football academy brings together 800 children aged 10-15 years old from across the island in November every year to play for a Football Cup. They all have only one goal: to show their ball skills and technical ability over the course of two weekends at Lycée des Mascareignes. The different teams taking part in this sensational event are divided into categories. The tournament is a way for the Moka soccer academy to reward members for their tireless efforts over the year. The next edition will be played in 2021, with dates still to be confirmed.
