The School of Fine Arts of Mahatma Gandhi Institute (MGI) was recently enveloped in a creative vibe. From the 5th
to the 8
eighteen talented young artists showcased their best creations during their three years of study. This exhibition featuring works on paper, walls and screens was entitled “nextcreators”.
Under the inspiring guidance of Nooreen Lallmamode-Ittoo, Head of Design and Communication Department and Programme Coordinator – Media Arts
Level 2, these young enthusiasts pushed the boundaries of their imagination to offer a new take on the world of art and visual communication. Their training at MGI has equipped them
with 3D skills, enabling them to
easily work with still and moving images and opening up new perspectives in various fields, including animation, advertising, multimedia, video games and design.
The “nextcreators” exhibition
was the perfect opportunity for these design and communication students to interact with the professional world and connect with potential employers. Always on the lookout for new talent, a number of reputable advertising agencies such as Circus and Gung Ho attended the event.
