At the leading edge of performance: HPC Mauritius for top athletes
From May to August 2023, the High Performance Centre Mauritius at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex welcomed 340 athletes each week as part of their preparation for the 2023 Indian Ocean Island Games. Through research and innovation, the centre is raising the standards in
sports science, sports medicine, training and rehabilitation. Throughout the year, athletes undergo scientific testing and high-level training programmes while receiving comprehensive medical support to prepare them to make their mark on the Olympic and world stage.
Neighbours’ Day is back!
The 3rd edition of the Neighbours’ Day was held from 19th to 21st May in seven neighbourhoods of Moka. A total of 750 residents came together to share a pleasant moment.
As in the first two editions, volunteers from the neighbourhoods organised the event with the support of the Moka’mwad collective and everyone contributed by bringing a dish and a drink to share. Certainly the best way to foster community spirit!

Decathlon playground,
A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES
Decathlon Playground is committed to offering a variety of activities to customers every month.
Every week, a variety of sports are on offer, including skateboarding, Muay Thai, yoga, basketball, rollerblading and archery. Introductions to these activities are organised every last weekend of the month.
Decathlon Outdoors outings are organised every two months. These complimentary hikes with Keep The Pace are an opportunity for participants to discover the island’s must-do nature trails, such as Deux Mamelles, Pétrin and 7 Cascades.
Every last Sunday of the month, members of the Decathlon Trail Team are available to offer a series of introductory free trail running sessions.
The playground is accessible during the opening hours of the store. Just leave your ID at the reception desk to borrow footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, etc.
