Moka Rangers Grand Prix: Christopher Lagane and Dylan Redy, a winning tandem!
X The 2nd edition of the Moka Rangers Grand Prix took place on 18 September 2021. The start of the Gentlemen's race was given at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre, Pailles and the finish line was in Helvétia, Moka.
This very exciting duo time trial event was won by Christopher Lagane and Dylan Redy from the KFC Faucon Flacq Club. They finished the 26km race in 40 minutes and 11 seconds.
They were closely tailed by Moka Rangers’ electric duo of Yannick Lincoln and Niels Hartmann, who completed the race in 40 minutes and 35 seconds after an epic battle.
Congratulations to the winners, and save the date for the next edition. P

Introducing children to mountain
biking at Moka Rangers
Sports Club
X A group of 5-to-8-year-olds can be seen riding their bikes near Les Promenades d’Helvétia since September 2021. Mountain biking lessons are available since 2019 for 9-to-12-year-olds at the Moka Bike Park and this outdoor sport activity proved so popular that the club decided to include younger children as well. They are trained by the professionals coaches, Héloïse Mayer, Guy L’Espérance, Celia Halbwachs and Niels Hartmann, who teach them riding techniques in a fun way. The lessons combine recreation and learning to offer the children the best conditions possible. They are available on Thursday afternoons for a monthly fee of Rs 800.
