Two new interchanges in Moka
X The Road Development Authority (RDA) and ENL have signed an agreement in September 2021 to build a new interchange on the M3 motorway, which will connect to the future Verdun Bypass Road and the existing Saint Pierre Bypass Road.
Work will be undertaken by the RDA in two phases: the Verdun Bypass Road will initially be connected to this new interchange. The latter will then be connected to the Saint Pierre Bypass Road. Completion is scheduled for 2024.
In addition, the Tribeca Central smart city near Ebene Cybercity, the RDA and Landscope Mauritius have sealed a partnership to build another interchange on the M1 motorway to reduce traffic congestion at the Reduit roundabout.
Moka is located between the M1 and M3 motorways and these two projects will improve traffic flow on the eastern and western sides of the smart city. This will save time and improve safety for the people who live and work in the area. P
Dukesbridge plans new school in L’Avenir
X The acquisition of land in L’Avenir by Dukesbridge sounds like a promise to its young students.
A secondary school will be available from 2023 in this new neighbourhood of Moka Smart. This will be the fourteenth campus in Mauritius for this private franchise, which also has two others in Nairobi, Kenya.
Dukesbridge already operates three preprimary schools in Moka and is expanding its footprint in the region, which is strategically located close to residential and business areas as well as various amenities. P
