Best practices to apply at home
To recover plastic & aluminium
What can't be reused?
You need to understand that not all used products can be recycled. For example, packaging and soiled paper or items like tissues, pizza boxes, dirty diapers and broken toys should be disposed of in a household rubbish bin.
It’s very simple: just throw everything that does not naturally decompose into this bin.
It’s therefore important to consume wisely so as to have as little non-recyclable waste as possible.
What to do with waste that can't be placed in sorting bins?
Used batteries: ask an adult to drop them off at the pickup points near you.
Household appliances (used microwave ovens, fridges, etc.): you can ask your parents to drop them off at BEM Recycling.
Old clothes, shoes and toys: you can donate them to associations that will redistribute them to needy people.
Your small actions can make the planet healthier! We're counting on you!

You can use them to make compost [see page 98].
