DÉLICE SUCRÉ SALÉ: THE BEST FRITTERS
IN TOWN!
Y DéliceSucréSalé’s customers will definitely agree
with us that they sell the best fritters but also the best
poutou steamed rice cakes! You can see people start
lining up even before the opening to make sure they get their freshly cooked, melt-in-the-
mouth gato-pima (chilli bites), potato or brinjal fritters, and spicy baja, fried crisp but not soggy with oil. They are perfect for breakfast or a snack! The poutou are so delicious that people travel long distances just to get a taste!
A must-eat for sure! P

           BAZ’ART MOKARAY,
LOCAL FOOD MADE WITH LOVE
X Baz’Art Mokaray is a newly opened social enterprise that serves delicious, authentic local cuisine at a reasonable price. You can have your lunch both inside or outside in a fresh and pleasant setting. You cannot order à la carte, but the daily specials are cooked with love and passion by charming staff. Subject to availability, you can taste typical Mauritian dishes like their crepes stuffed with satini sevret (shrimp chutney), their sandwich with salad gato-pima (salad with chilli bites) or their rice dish with lentils and salted fish. They also serve some fresh, natural drinks with fruits like tamarind and bergamot as well as traditional desserts such sago in coconut milk and corn pudding.
Due to the entrepreneurial nature of the place, we take the opportunity to admire the place mats and napkin rings, meticulously made of recycled paper, which embellish the decor.
