Optimum resource use for a greener future
Citysmarting is a concept that plants the seeds in the present for future generations. From the very outset, the master plan for Moka Smart City has been designed with a binding vision to promote sustainable, social and green development.
It is ultimately a smart city that improves the
quality of life of its residents, is driven by the collaboration of all its stakeholders, serves as a catalyst for economic opportunities and promotes optimum resource use. In order to live up to this high aspiration, the environmental impact of each choice must be carefully assessed and planned.
In this feature, we will shed light on waste sorting and recycling as well as solar power production initiatives. Gabrielle Brun will then introduce us to the future Moka Park. And to conclude, we will list the 10 green commandments that have helped the smart city achieve LEED ND certification, an international recognition for environmental quality.
