Out of sight doesn’t mean out of mind!
X The citizens of Moka have joined their efforts to find ways to help each other during lockdown. Facebook groups were created for this purpose. In Mount Ory, Vishesh Doorgah, Constable Jérôme Retourner and their friends have worked hard to raise funds as
well as distribute food and gas bottles to the needy and the elderly. The residents of Bois Chéri, L’Avenir, Sainte Catherine and Camp Samy also rallied to help those in need. P

A great display of solidarity
from the Moka’mwad collective!
Together we can go further! That is what drove Moka’mwad to support the city’s residents through
a blood donation, the “Ansam anou ed nou bann vwazin” fundraising event and food distribution in Moka. The citizen collective served as a link between the stakeholders involved in the initiative, NGOs and civil society organisations.
