Rezidan: Season 2
The second season of the Rezidan project is once again exploring public art. This year, the Émergence artistic residency is back and will be guided by Charlotte d’Hotman from the IMAAYA gallery, giving the selected artists the opportunity to take their projects to a higher level.

The Mokassiens project will be led this time by the professional photographer, Eric Lee, who will produce a series of unique portraits. The photographs will showcase the many faces of the Moka area and
will be displayed in large format along the Telfair Promenade.

The number of parking spaces that Moka Smart City has developed in the foothills of Le Pouce Mountain to make life easier for regular visitors. Having marked out several trails since 2019, the smart city has now installed a sign displaying the site’s routes, distances and elevations. Moka Smart City demonstrates its commitment by investing in facilities that are free of charge and accessible to everyone, to the delight of sports enthusiasts!
Now in its tenth year, the Test Drive is aligning itself with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Turbine’s economic resilience strategy. The SDGs include goals that are essential for Mauritius, and the current edition will focus on five of them: No. 2 – Zero Hunger;
No. 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; No. 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities; No. 12: Responsible Consumption and Production; and No. 13: Climate Action.
This year, twenty professionals and experts from various sectors are on the project selection panel, working alongside the entrepreneurs to assist them every step of the way. Moka Smart City is once again supporting this initiative as an official sponsor!
