Emergence is back for a new edition! This visual arts residency is once again welcoming artists. Applications are open until 28th February 2025. Take your art to the next level.
“We are thrilled with the results of previous seasons. This residency is a true springboard, allowing participants to progress and create professional opportunities. Julien Oozeeraully (Zilien), a Season 2 participant, is a great example, he now dedicates himself to his art full-time and has won multiple awards since his time with us,” says Mathieu Pigeot, Art & Culture Manager of Moka Smart City.
He adds: “We welcome artists working across various mediums, but what truly matters is their approach and originality. This year, beyond the mentorship and financial support we offer residents, we are working on a series of upcoming projects aimed at creating exhibition opportunities for the selected artists.”
This stimulating environment allows artists to focus on their ideas, explore new perspectives, and refine their vision under the guidance of Imaaya gallery experts. Through weeks of creative exchange, artists emerge with a fresh vision and unique work.
Their journey at Emergence leads to a clear goal: to exhibit their creations in Moka and share their artistic evolution with the public.
