The operations team also provides assistance to owners who are carrying out construction work. “We show them where the water, electricity and telephone connection points are located. We also help them get temporary water and electricity supply pending permanent connection. We also help them in other ways, for example when they need to store their materials or soil from their excavations,” says Régis Maubernard.
Some of the actions undertaken on a daily basis by these teams may not be visible to certain people, but they are essential for city users. “We carry out regular checks to ensure that everything is in order: repairing water leaks and lights, checking drains, responding in the event that waste bins are overflowing, etc. Any anomalies are promptly identified and we do our utmost to correct them as quickly as possible: the environment and infrastructure hence remain in optimum condition and the quality of life is preserved,” adds Régis Maubernard.
This proactive and efficient maintenance strategy is already paying off: it keeps the city safe and operational while contributing significantly to improving the living environment for all people of Moka. This ensures that the smart city will continue to thrive in an optimum way!
