A few weeks after receiving its Smart City certification, Moka has begun its first residential project next to Les Allées d’Helvétia: Les Promenades d’Helvétia. In parallel, another project is being implemented: a large landscaped avenue that will connect Moka from east to west, namely La Promenade.
La Promenade, a magnificent eight-meter-wide linear park with green space, a central sidewalk and bicycle paths, will link Helvetia to Telfair. Ultimately, this green zone will flow through Moka’s main arteries and cross the city from one side to the other. This new area will allow residents and the public to reach other parts of the city or just spend a relaxing time with family and friends. Upon completion, the project will also include free Wi-Fi and an open-air gym.
In parallel, Les Promenades d’Helvétia located along La Promenade, has also started. Earthworks have begun and the construction is scheduled on February 2018. The real estate development has been a great success and includes apartments, duplexes, penthouses and residential lands. This project offers a sustainable quality of life in a promising area, as well as a secure investment in a region that is evolving while staying authentic.
Moka is expected to continue its transformation thanks to the impulse of the Smart City Scheme which allows, among other things, foreigners to acquire a residential property in the center of the island.
