A brand-new sports club is currently under construction in Moka, with a clear mission: to provide a space where people can get active, push their limits… and connect. Here are five key things to know about this future hub, set to become a favourite playground for sports enthusiasts in the heart of the island.

1. A strategic location

This upcoming sports club will be nestled between the neighbourhoods of Helvétia and Telfair. Bordering La Promenade, it will be easily accessible by car, on foot, or by bike. Perfect for a light warm-up before your workout. Its central location makes it convenient for residents, professionals working in the area, and visitors passing through Moka.

2. A concentration of activities across 130,000 m²

Here, you can move your way. Whether you’re looking to unwind, progress, or try something new, you’ll be spoilt for choice:

  • 4 indoor padel courts
  • 1 golf driving range
  • 420 m² cardio and weight training gym
  • 2 group fitness studios
  • 100 m² spinning studio
  • 1 outdoor cross-training zone
  • 25 m heated swimming pool and a learner’s pool
  • 1 football/rugby pitch
  • 2 five-a-side football pitches
  • 1 multi-sport court (volleyball / basketball / foot-tennis)

Plenty of opportunities to try new sports or ease back into your fitness journey

Golfers will enjoy a dedicated training area featuring a driving range and a 300 m² pro shop. This facility will be managed by The Golf Company, led by Ryan Dodds, a well-known figure among Mauritius’ golfing community. All set against the stunning backdrop of the Moka mountain range. A view that inspires big swings!

4. More than just a sports venue

  • A welcoming restaurant-bar to enjoy a drink or a meal after your workout.
  • A kids’ club for the little ones.
  • A teen zone designed especially for teenagers.

A lively space where everyone enjoys spending time whether after training, with the family, or with friends.
