ENL is partnering with ENL Agri to hold the Moka Plant Festival from 24 to 30 November 2018, a must-attend annual event for plant lovers. This 7-day festival at the Moka Nursery will bring together visitors and exhibitors around a shared passion for gardening!
The Moka Plant Festival has now become an annual feature in the heart of the island for plant and garden lovers and is looking forward to success this year again.
Listening to visitors’ feedback
This year, the organisers of the Moka Plant Festival have taken on board comments made last year by visitors, who had demanded greater choice. “We have listened to our visitors and this year, we are bringing in specialised nurseries to introduce the public to a greater number of rare medicinal and aromatic plants, among others. In addition, the African Bonsai Association and World Bonsai Friendship Federation hosted a session on how to look after bonsai trees on Saturday 24 November while representatives from the Orchid Society of Mauritius spoke about the history of this plant,” says ENL Agri’s Nursery Development Manager, Devi Teeluck.
Special offers and entertainment for all ages
The Moka Plant Festival is also an opportunity for visitors to discover special offers on a range of indoor plants as well as ceramic and terracotta pots, among others. Finally, like every year, complimentary activities are available at the Kids Corner throughout the day over the weekend. A wish tree has been set up by Baz’Art Creation along with face painting. Children have also been able to attend recycling workshops hosted by Pascal Legris from Baz’Art Creation and take part in the Christmas decorations workshop. Eventful, indeed!
