It’s done! Since the 18th of December 2018, all PwC teams have taken possession of their brand new Head Office in the Moka Smart City. For Anthony Leung Shing, Country Senior Partner PwC, the objective was clear, “to create an inspiring workplace. This new PwC Center must provide a comfortable and sustainable environment, which will focus on collaboration, flexibility and technology. “

Eco-friendly offices

The new offices of PwC are the first in the Moka Smart City – which already brings together some fifty companies under its “business pole” – to be built according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) criteria. These criteria require compliance with strict environmental standards in the design of the building but also throughout the duration of the project, for example by promoting specific materials, controlled waste treatment and specific standards for site management. In addition, offices optimize on lighting and ventilation to reduce electricity consumption.

Outside the building, parking spaces will be provided for electric cars and bicycles, to encourage Eco-friendly habits among employees. The ambition of the enterprise is to reduce its carbon emission as much as possible.

The well-being of employees, a key objective

Inside, open spaces have been created, as well as relaxation areas and meeting rooms for individual or group works. These new offices have been designed to promote the well-being of collaborators. The aim is to enable them to evolve in an environment conducive to welfare, where the choice to settle in the heart of Moka Smart City becomes natural.

This privileged environment offers companies, setting up there, the possibility of easily attracting talent. Many local and international bodies have made this choice. Besides the business quarters, Moka Smart City also includes residential areas, schools, universities and retail. While preserving the idea of a sustainable development, Moka is being transformed.
